Swarms are gentle clumps of bees that are temporarily ‘camping’ on their way to a new home. They may be hanging in a ball in a tree or in a ‘splat’ on your wall. They have not moved into a structure yet.

Note: I can only remove swarms that are on your property or public property, have your neighbors contact me with permission for swarms on their property.

Once bees have moved into your wall, composter, or other structure, they are no longer a swarm, but a colony. These can usually be removed by opening up the structure and removing the bees with a special, gentle vacuum.

If bees have moved into a structure like a stone wall or a tree that is not slated for cutting down they will require a process called a trap out for removal.

This is a specialized type of removal that requires many visits and takes at least 4-6 weeks to complete. Because of the difficulty, I price these on a per-job basis and they are quite expensive.
